Founded in 1989 by Jose “Joe” Fernandez, Superior Shine provides high-level paint polishing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, and auto detailing services throughout Southern California. By accessing our website, requesting estimates, booking services, or opting into SMS communications, you (“Customer,” “Client,” or “User”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Entity Identification & Legal Notice

This website and all related mobile, online, and detailing services are owned and operated by Shinecast LLC, doing business as Superior Shine. All contracts, estimates, invoices, and automated communications are formally issued under Shinecast LLC.

2. Website Use Terms

• Acceptable Use: You agree to use this website solely for lawful purposes, such as learning about our services, reviewing work portfolios, requesting estimates, and scheduling appointments. You agree not to interfere with website functionality, harvest data, or submit false inquiries.

• Intellectual Property: All content on this website—including photography, text, branding, logos, and custom service descriptions—is the property of Shinecast LLC / Superior Shine and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

3. Service & Appointment Terms

• Vehicle Inspection & Disclosure: Clients must disclose pre-existing vehicle conditions, including existing paint defects, repainted panels, clear coat failure, structural damage, or delicate mechanical/electrical issues prior to service.

• Access & Facilities: For mobile detailing, the Client must ensure a safe location with adequate workspace and access to necessary utilities (water/power) unless explicitly arranged otherwise.

• Personal Belongings: Clients are required to remove all personal items and valuables from the vehicle prior to service. Superior Shine / Shinecast LLC is not liable for lost or damaged personal property left inside the vehicle.

4. Estimates & Pricing

• Initial Quotes: Pricing provided online or over the phone represents an initial estimate based on vehicle descriptions. Final pricing is confirmed upon hands-on inspection of the vehicle's paint and surface area.

• Scope Adjustments: If paint correction requires additional stages or specialized decontamination to achieve optimal results, any price adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon prior to performing the work.

• Payment: Full payment is due immediately upon completion of services. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and approved digital payment methods.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Advance Notice: Please provide at least 24 to 48 hours’ advance notice for any cancellations or schedule changes.

• Weather Delays: Because ceramic coatings and paint correction require controlled climate conditions, Superior Shine reserves the right to reschedule appointments in the event of inclement weather or unsafe working environments without penalty.

6. SMS / Text Message Terms

By opting in to receive text messages from Superior Shine / Shinecast LLC (via web forms, booking engines, or direct request), you consent to receive transactional and promotional text messages.

• Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on your ongoing appointments, inquiries, and service schedule.

• Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

• Unsubscribe (STOP): Customers may reply STOP to unsubscribe from text communications at any time. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

• Assistance (HELP): Customers may reply HELP for assistance or email us at [email protected].

• Non-Condition of Purchase: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or receiving detailing services from Superior Shine.

7. Ceramic Coatings & Service Guarantees

Ceramic coating longevity depends on proper cure times, maintenance washing, and surface care. Superior Shine provides detailed post-care instructions following ceramic application. Failure to follow recommended ceramic maintenance (e.g., using automated abrasive car washes) may void applicable service guarantees.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shinecast LLC / Superior Shine shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from website use or service performance. Our total liability for any claim arising from auto detailing or ceramic coating services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service rendered.

9. Privacy Policy Reference

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through our website, booking forms, or SMS opt-in programs is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share customer mobile phone numbers or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
